How it works

From order to evidence in five steps.

Mystery shopping only earns its keep when the result is specific enough to act on. Here is exactly what happens at each stage, who does it, and how long it honestly takes.

  1. 1

    You order the shop

Choose the location, the type of contact, what you want measured and when it should be completed. You set the shopper payout.

    Minutes
  2. 2

It posts to the shopper board

Verified shoppers in that area see the job with its payout and requirements, and claim it.

Usually within a few days, depending on area
  3. 3

    The visit happens

The shopper completes the visit, call or inquiry and fills in the scorecard on their phone with comments and photos.

    By your requested date
  4. 4

    Evidence is checked

We review the submission for completeness before it reaches you. Incomplete work is sent back or reassigned.

    Same or next business day
  5. 5

    You get the report

Scores by section, the shopper's own words, photo evidence and one recommended action, in your dashboard and by email.

    After the check clears

What we can shop

A customer experience is rarely just the front door. We evaluate the three places most businesses actually lose people.

In-person visits

A shopper walks in as an ordinary customer — sales floor, service counter, waiting area, checkout — and records what actually happened.

Phone inquiries

We call your published number the way a customer would: how long it rings, who answers, whether the question gets answered and whether anyone follows up.

Website and form inquiries

A shopper submits a real inquiry through your site and times your response, then scores the quality of the reply your team actually sent.

What lands in your dashboard

Photo evidence

Images captured during the visit, tied to the specific shop and stored privately — not stock photos and not hearsay.

Section-by-section scores

Every scorecard section with its points and a grade out of 100, so one month is comparable to the next.

One recommended action

The single change with the largest point impact, written plainly enough to hand straight to a team lead.

Quality, coverage and the honest limits

How shoppers are selected

Shoppers register, confirm their email, and set the city they can cover. A shopper can only see and claim jobs in their area, and each job shows its requirements — evening or weekend timing, appointment needs, a required purchase — before they accept it.

How evidence is checked

A submission must include a score for every section of your scorecard plus written comments. Photos are uploaded during or straight after the visit from the shopper's phone and stored privately against that shop, so the evidence is tied to the specific job.

If a submission is incomplete

It does not become your report. We return it to the shopper for the missing detail, or release the job back to the board for another shopper, and tell you the new expected date. You are not billed twice for the same shop.

Where shops can be fulfilled

Coverage depends on shoppers being active in that area. Major metro areas fill fastest. Rural locations, unusual hours, appointment-only businesses and specialty shopper profiles take longer and may need a higher payout — we tell you before you commit rather than after.
